About The Teacher

Hi my name is Molly Bargery and this is my 15th year as a Physical Education
Teacher. My first year of teaching was at Martin Elementary School in
Martin, Tennessee where I was hired to do a year fill in for a teacher.
The last 14 years I have been here at HB Williams Elementary.

I graduated from the University of
Tennessee at Martin with a major in
Health and Human Performance. I also completed my first Masters at the
University of Tennessee at Martin in Administration and Supervision.
In 2010 I completed my second Masters at Western Kentucky University
in Physical Education.

I am originally from the Reelfoot Lake area in West Tennessee but I have
now made Hendersonville my home.

Physical Education Newsletter

v    What should I wear to PE?

Wear appropriate tennis shoes (no crocs, sandals or boots) and shorts under skirts.

v    What if my child has a medical condition?

If your child has a medical condition that we need to know about, please send a note explaining the situation so we will know what to do should a problem arise. Please continue to update us on any situations, as we want to be able to take the best care of your child.

v    What is our grading system?

Your child’s grade will be based on participation, sportsmanship, and teamwork on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. We feel these areas will benefit your child in our Physical Education class and prepare him/her to become a cooperative individual throughout life.

As a Fit Kid:

  • I will respect my body and keep it healthy
  • I will exercise 3 to 4 times a week
  • I will eat healthy foods to give me energy
  • I will drink water instead soda

This year we will have 4 groups for Fit Club.  Fit Club meets on Tuesdays from 2:30 to  3:30.  A calendar will be sent home with your child's dates.  Please keep in a safe place so you know when your child has class.

Fit Club is offered to 3rd and 4th Grade Students.  We will learn the importance of having a fit and healthy lifesyle by doing various fitness activites and discussing nutrition.  The school obstacle course, videos and team games will be used during this time.
